Invest in the Next Stage of Rhino Lights

Built from the ground up. Ready for what comes next.

Rhino Lights is a privately held North Carolina company that designs, engineers, manufactures and supports premium lighting and control systems for the powersports, off-road and specialty vehicle markets.

What began with a single product has developed into a broader platform of proprietary lighting products, electronics, firmware, software, manufacturing capabilities and direct-to-consumer infrastructure.

We are exploring strategic investment partnerships that can help accelerate the next stage of Rhino Lights.

Financial information, transaction details and other confidential materials are shared privately with qualified parties.

More than a lighting brand.

Rhino has spent years building capabilities that are difficult to recreate simply by sourcing another product and putting a logo on it.

Proprietary Product Development

We develop our own lighting products, circuit boards, control electronics and product architecture rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf private-label products.

Vertical Operating Control

Engineering, board assembly, machining, product assembly, testing, service and support are managed from our North Carolina operation.

That gives Rhino greater control over product development, quality, iteration and the customer experience.

Expanding Product Platform

Rhino has grown beyond its original whip lights into rock lights, pod lighting, vehicle-specific products, lighting controllers, accessories and integrated lighting systems.

The goal is not to compete around a single product. It is to continue building a platform around specialty vehicle lighting and control.

Established Infrastructure

The company already operates the systems required to sell, manufacture and support its products, including direct-to-consumer ecommerce, product configurators, dealer programs, customer accounts, warranty and repair workflows, and internal manufacturing processes.

Investment would be used to scale an operating business rather than build that infrastructure from zero.

Built Differently

Engineering is part of the business model.

Many lighting brands compete primarily through sourcing, branding and distribution. Rhino took a different approach.

  1. We design circuit boards.
  2. We develop firmware and software.
  3. We manufacture and assemble products.
  4. We machine components.
  5. We test finished products.
  6. We service what we build.

Keeping those capabilities close together allows products to evolve faster and gives Rhino greater ownership over the technology behind the brand.

The Next Stage

Capital as an accelerator.

The foundation has been built. The opportunity now is to expand what it can support.

Additional capital could accelerate areas including:

  • Manufacturing capacity
  • Product development
  • Inventory availability
  • Distribution
  • Dealer expansion
  • Vehicle-specific applications
  • Marketing
  • Operational scale

Build more of what makes Rhino difficult to replicate, and put it in front of more customers.

Specific growth plans, financial performance, forecasts and capital requirements are discussed privately with prospective investment partners.

Why Now

Rhino today is substantially different from the company that began with a prototype built in a garage.

The business has developed multiple product families, proprietary electronics, increasingly sophisticated control technology, manufacturing capabilities, a direct customer base and a growing dealer channel.

Years of product development and infrastructure investment have created a foundation that can support a much larger business.

The next challenge is scale.

  • 2019

    First Rhino prototype

  • Expansion

    Lighting ecosystem grows beyond whips

  • Today

Products, electronics, firmware, software and manufacturing

The Partner We Are Looking For

We are interested in speaking with investors and strategic partners who understand the value of building a durable company around proprietary products, engineering and domestic manufacturing.

Industry experience in automotive, powersports, manufacturing, consumer products, ecommerce or distribution can be valuable, but alignment around the long-term opportunity is more important.

We are not looking simply for capital. We are looking for the right partner for Rhino’s next stage.
