Three platforms from $195 · 1″ and 1.3″ · RGB and RGB+W
Built and wrapped in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Step one
Not three price points — three builds across two lighting systems. The 2.0 and the 2.5 are RGB. The 3.0 is RGB+W, with a dedicated white channel and the Axion rock lights that run on it.
Step two
Real technical support. The people who build the system are the people who support it. 704-270-2695
A broken whip is a repair, not a re-order. How a repair actually works
The range
If you are between platforms, this is the row that usually decides it.

Wrapped, not stuffed
The strip runs 360 degrees around the core with no gap between runs, sealed in UV-protected resin under clear heat shrink. There is no back of a Rhino whip and no dead side to point away from the trail.
The 2.5 Fattie
A 2 ft Fattie carries the same LED count as a 3 ft 2.0, and a 3 ft Fattie the same as a 4 ft 2.0 — the same light, a foot shorter. Put them at equal height and the gap is 50% more LEDs at 2 ft, and about 28% at 3 ft.
2 foot
3 foot
4 foot
LEDs per whip, not per pair. Rhino's own catalog figures, quoted as the approximations they are — no whip has been through the bench, and this page does not dress them as measurements. No count is published for the Rhino 3.0: RGB+W uses a different emitter and nobody has counted one yet.
USA-made spring base
That is the actual origin of the spring line. Rhino built a 1.3-inch whip and then could not buy a spring anywhere that would take the load, so it started making its own. The base is an anti-clogging, metal-to-metal quick disconnect — pull the whip, leave the base bolted on.
A spring is required on any whip 2 ft or longer for the warranty to apply. Springs are included.
RGB and RGB+W
RGB makes white by mixing all three channels, and it usually lands slightly blue or slightly pink. RGB+W gives white its own emitter on its own channel. That is the upgrade — and it is also a different system. These are two lighting architectures, not one system with a white option, so whatever you add later, add it to the one your whips are on.
RGB
Rhino 2.0 whips · Rhino 2.5 Fattie whips · Diamond RGB rock lights · Halos · RGB strip
Connex turn, brake and reverse boards and the Connex switch panels run on RGB.
RGB+W
Rhino 3.0 whips · Axion RGB+W rock lights · RGB+W strip
Connex turn, brake and reverse is not available for RGB+W yet.
Build on one system or the other. RGB and RGB+W are separate architectures, and a machine that wants both is a wiring conversation we would rather have on the phone than guess at here. The Bluetooth controller is the same part number either way, so there is no second controller to choose between. 704-270-2695

“Their products are a bit pricey but they are 100% worth it.”
I've had my set of 4 foot whips on my machine for over 2 years now and considering the amount of abuse they get where they're so tall they still work like brand new.

“Amazing whips. Have rolled my rzr whips were 90° to the ground and they didn't snap. Rolled the rzr back over and the whips were still working just like normal.”

“Put the 18inch light whips with springs on my pickup truck snow plow and they are great. I hit a mailbox at 25mph or little faster in a subdivision with one of the light whips and it held together and still works perfectly”

The LED strip is built to length, wrapped, potted and wired here, by the people who designed the system — which is why a whip can be opened, diagnosed and repaired rather than replaced.
The company behind it
The people who designed the board and wrapped the whip are the people who repair it. That is the whole reason a repair is possible at all — and it applies to every platform, not just the newest one. A 2.0 comes back to the same bench as a 3.0.
01
Start an RMA from your account. It generates the packing slip and the shipping options for you.
02
A flat $65 for components and labour, paid when you file — shipping to us is separate. One RMA per pair of whips; sending more than one pair on a single RMA voids it.
03
Received, in progress, repairing, quality control, shipped — each step is tracked against your RMA.
04
Your whips back, repaired, with tracking — rather than a credit toward buying the same thing again.
Before you buy
No. They use different lighting architectures and should be treated as two separate systems.
Rhino 2.0 and Rhino 2.5 Fattie whips belong to RGB, alongside Diamond RGB rock lights, Halos and RGB strip. Rhino 3.0 whips belong to RGB+W, alongside Axion RGB+W rock lights and RGB+W strip.
You can absolutely run both on one vehicle — plenty of machines do — but plan it as two systems, which usually means a controller for each. That is a wiring conversation, and it depends on the machine. Call 704-270-2695 before you order and we will lay it out with you.
The Rhino 3.0. Axion is an RGB+W rock light, and the 3.0 is the RGB+W whip — they are the same system.
The Rhino 2.0 and the Rhino 2.5 Fattie are RGB whips and are not part of the Axion lighting system. If you are running Axion, the 3.0 is the whip.
The LED strip. They are otherwise essentially the same whip: the same 1.3" platform, the same 360-degree wrap and clear shrink, and the same USA-made spring base.
The Rhino 2.5 Fattie carries an RGB strip. The Rhino 3.0 carries an RGB+W strip with a dedicated white channel, which is what puts it on the Axion system.
Both are serviceable and both come back to the same bench under the same RMA. The 3.0 is not a tougher whip — it is the same whip with different lighting.
The RGB and RGBW Bluetooth Controller w/ Music, $60.00. There is only one to choose from: the same part number covers an RGB system and an RGB+W system, so you order the same controller whichever whip you buy. It drives the system you put it on, not both at once — see the first question.
It is not in the box — a whip ships with the whip, the spring and the wire, and no controller.
On the spring base, which bolts to a bracket on your machine. The base uses a metal-to-metal quick disconnect, so the whip comes off for a garage door or a trailer and the base stays bolted on.
We build brackets for most common machines. If you are not sure what fits yours, call us before you order it.
Not necessarily — it is a convenience, at $48.25 plus the switch graphic. If you are comfortable wiring it yourself, you can.
One thing not to do either way: every whip ships with 10 ft of wire. Do not extend it - longer runs corrupt the data signal.
A flat $65 for components and labour when you file, plus shipping to us. The repair is tracked in your account from the day it reaches the bench until it ships back.
Coverage is assessed per request and applies to the original purchaser. The full terms are on the warranty page.
Ready when you are
RGB with the 2.0 or the 2.5, or RGB+W with the 3.0 and Axion. Pick the system, pick the length, add the controller. Compatible Rhino products you add later can join that system.
